Terms of Sale
Last updated: May 4, 2026
These terms of sale apply to all private medical and aesthetic services offered by Clinique Dr. Laurent Médecine Privée & Esthétique (the "Clinic").
1. Scope
These terms govern any service provided and billed by the Clinic, excluding services covered by the Régie de l'assurance maladie du Québec (RAMQ). By booking an appointment, the client accepts these terms.
2. Services and Pricing
Services offered by the Clinic include, without limitation: private family medicine, medical aesthetics (Botox, fillers, lasers, lipolysis, hair stimulation), male sexual health, and penile enhancement. Pricing is communicated during the initial consultation or displayed on the site. All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes (GST and QST).
3. Booking and Confirmation Deposit
To confirm an appointment, a non-refundable deposit of $5 CAD is required. This deposit is applied to the service cost or refunded after the visit, per Clinic policy. The credit card provided is securely retained for the application of late-cancellation or no-show fees (see section 5).
4. Payment Methods
Payments are accepted by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). Payment is due on the day of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Cancellation and No-Show Policy
Any cancellation or rescheduling must be done at least 48 hours in advance. A cancellation made less than 48 hours before the appointment, or a no-show without notice, will result in an administrative fee of $100 CAD charged to the client. By booking, the client expressly authorizes this fee to be charged to the credit card on file in case of late cancellation or no-show. This fee compensates for the loss of the reserved time slot and does not constitute a penalty.
6. Refunds
Services rendered are non-refundable. For prepaid packages including multiple sessions, a prorated refund of unused sessions may be granted, at the Clinic's discretion, for valid medical reasons. Injectable products and other Health Canada-regulated consumables cannot be returned.
7. Right of Withdrawal
Pursuant to Quebec's Consumer Protection Act (LPC), in-person services rendered at our facility are not subject to the 7-day distance-cancellation right. For prepaid packages sold remotely without a physical signature, this right applies as per the LPC.
8. Medical Suitability and Refusal of Service
The Clinic reserves the right to refuse or interrupt a treatment if a medical condition, contraindication, or safety risk to the client is identified. In such a case, the unused balance of a package will be refunded.
9. Complaints
Any complaint must be submitted in writing to info@drlaurentmedecineetesthetique.com. The client may also contact Quebec's Office de la protection du consommateur (OPC): opc.gouv.qc.ca.
10. Changes
The Clinic may modify these terms at any time. The version in effect is the one published on the site at the time of booking.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and Canada. Any dispute will be brought before the courts of the judicial district of Laval, Quebec. The French version of these terms prevails in the event of any conflict.
